NSW State Billiards 2016 budget expenditure and player requirements.

Distribution of funds:

Total $7000

Prize money breakdown:
Winner – $1200
Runner up – $700
Losing Semi finalist – $400 each ($800)
Losing Quarters – $250 each ($1000)
Losing last 16 – $200 each ($1600)
High break $200
Prize pool deductions sub total (-$5500)

Tournament expenses:
Promotional banners/ advertising- $390
Tournament director Steve Cowie $300
Assistance TD – Jeff Farrugia – $140
Referee fees- refs from last 16 to Final ($30 per match + $50 for final)- $470
Players will referee during Round Robin stage as usual. SEE refereeing schedule.

BSANSW association fee 10% levy on entry fees only. A special agreement was struck with the sponsors and the BSANSW that the sponsorship money would not carry state levy ($2000 @ 10%) = $200

Note each player will also be given a $10 meal voucher to be spent at the various food outlets at Club Marconi for their assistance in refereeing during the Round Robin stage.

The TD will be given a $50 meal voucher to be spent at the various Club Marconi food outlets.

The Round Robin section shall be completed up until the last 16 on the Saturday. Approx finish time 9:30pm

Last 16 will be played on the Sunday.
NO round 16 matches to be played on the Saturday.

Players who miss out on the 16 are invited to referee on the Sunday and will be paid $30 per match. You must put in an expression of interest to referee on the Sunday with the TD to allocate you to matches. Only official referees to officiate from semi finals to Final.

Players must be present at venue, registered with TD at least 30 minutes prior to your first match or refereeing commitment.

Players scheduled to play or referee during the first round on Saturday (9.30am) please be at the TD Desk at least 30 minutes earlier. IE 9:00 am.

Standard penalty applies as per National ranking system and State title rules.
