A great day of action at the Sydney Open Billiards at Hornsby RSL Club saw Danik Lucas rise to the top of the breaks board and the field of 48 reduced to the final 8 for Sunday’s play. Danik recorded a flawless 318 and 186 unfinished in defeating 2015 Australian Open Snooker champion Charlie Chafe. It was great to have you in the event Charlie. World champion Peter Gilchrist was prolific as always and had a best effort of 289 today. And Matthew Bolton really warmed up to the task adding three double centuries with a best of 212.
