Bangkok to Marconi!

SangSom World 6 Red
Snooker Championship
Bangkok, Thailand

September 8th

DAY 4 and with the end of the group stage so too comes the end of the tournament for our Oceania representatives.

Unfortunately Ryan Thomerson, Daniel Haenga and Peter McCullagh failed to qualify for the last 32 Knockout.

Peter missing out by one frame in controversial circumstances with his opponent Luca Brecel failing to turn up therefore forfeiting the match but not allowing Peter to improve on his frame average.

Overall our reps done remarkably well with several close and final frame encounters against world class amateurs and seasoned professionals including quality matches against World Champions Mark Williams, Mark Selby, Ding Junhui and Pankaj Advani

A shoutout too to Aussie referee Kim Ivett who has had a remarkable few weeks reffing IBSF U18s Womens Final , WLBS Paul Hunter Womens final and the SangSom World 6 Red matches amongst many others! Congratulations Kim!

Our coverage of the championship will now end but you can keep up to date with results here;
